Fall Getaway Tour 2Excitement is building as Gleaner members, family, and guests are given the opportunity to experience the rich history and beautiful natural scenery of Massachusetts during Gleaner’s Fall Getaway Tour, September 26 - October 1, 2010. Travelers will be transported to the picturesque seaside towns of Cape Cod and historical treasures of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The five day trip departs from Adrian, Michigan.

Trip highlights include:

  • Roundtrip deluxe DVD motor coach transportation
  • Five nights hotel accommodations (1 in Auburn, NY, 3 in Plymouth, 1 in Verona, NY)
  • Five breakfasts, two dinners, a lobster bake, and one dinner featuring entertainment
  • Tour of Boston including the USS Constitution, Freedom Trail, Old North Church, ­Boston Common, and a drive-by of the bar from Cheers
  • Step-on guide for 3 days
  • Visit to Sandwich, the oldest town on the Cape, and to the Kennedy Memorial and St. Francis Xavier Church in Hyannis
  • Tour of the Cape to Provincetown
  • Roundtrip ferry ride to Martha’s Vineyard with tour
  • Tour of Plymouth and admission to the Mayflower II
  • Whale cruise aboard the Captain John Whale Boat
  • Free time to browse antique shops, take in beautiful architecture, and see the sites of the citiesFall Getaway Tour
  • Baggage handling, all applicable taxes, and meal gratuities included

At this time, the Cape Cod trip is full as we have received the maximum number of participants. The Fraternal Department is working to bring other Gleaner events to our members including the Society’s 55th Biennial Convention.
